Went to the Big Island of Hawaii last August. Went to a cookout on the beach where they grilled big opihi (limpets) in their shells on the hibachi. They drizzled a sauce of butter, white wine and garlic on the opihi while it was cooking. Finished product tasted just like escargot! Delish!
