It is worth paying extra for the Preseasoned Cast Iron Lodge Grill compared to their regular grill?

The price of the Pre-seasoned Lodge Grill has gone up considerably over the last few months – probably has to do with summer coming on. It was selling for ~$75 and is now up to $103!

I would definitely consider the non-pre-seasoned version a less expensive alternative. I just checked its price and it is currently on sale at Amazon for only $59.99 (normally $99.99) while supplies last.

You would need to season the cooking grill but other than that they appear to be basically the same. Is it worth saving $43? In my opinion I’d say yes.

The link to the Amazon sale is here.

Note that you have to actually add the item to your cart to see the current sale price as it is not published on the product page. Adding to the cart is in no way an obligation to buy.

That’s my $.02
